Supplier profile: The Weald Smokery

The Weald Smokery is one of our longest standing suppliers of deli quality cured meats, fish and cheese. Based Flimwell, East Sussex, it has been a family run business for 35 years and is a superb and truly authentic smokery.

They have had their own shop since 1999, as well as supplying lots of other shops like ours, and in 2003, built a new smokehouse and food preparation rooms, allowing them to expand and go from strength to strength.

The team has grown from husband and wife to a full team using traditional methods to become on of the best artisan food producers operating in the UK today.
They recently won Best Artisan Producer by Gourmet Britain.
