Our shop gets a well-deserved interior facelift!

As part of our 25th anniversary activities, we have given the shop and post office a bit of a rejuvenation!

During the week days, everything has been as normal, but on Saturday and Sunday afternoons over the last couple of months, we have been getting to work behind the scenes, painting and decorating and giving the shop interiors some much needed TLC – we are 25 years old after all!

We are so pleased with the results and would like to give a huge thanks to the hardworking team behind the renovations, who have given up a number of weekends to help, and with particular thanks to Ian Caswell of Blaze Painting & Decorating for his generosity for undertaking the works free of charge, all for the good of the community. A special thanks also to Brewers Decorator Centre in Redhill, who have donated all the paint.

How do you like the new blue interior colour? We love it!

We have also renovated and reconfigured our post office area, creating a proper office for our shop manager as well. We would like to thank Charlie Hill of CKH Builders for the brilliant work and Limpsfield Parish Council for helping to fund the project through a grant.

It may seem like a small adjustment, but it’s transformed our increasingly busy post office and makes a massive difference to all the volunteers and manager.

We are so very grateful to everyone who has been involved and for their ongoing dedication to our little shop.
