It’s almost time for that part of the year when leaves change colour and fall, seasonal flavours charm, and cosy living provides comfort.

Here at Limpsfield Memorial Stores & Post Office we love autumn’s many delights and are looking forward to providing you with what you need this season.

Firstly, as the nights draw in and cool, a selection of logs and kindling will be available each week, together with our firelighters and safety matches.

In need of comfort food? Returning to the store will be a range of delicious Zuppe soups, perfect for lunchtime or dinner. Flavours include Charred Pepper & Tomato, Chicken & Vegetable and Mushroom Woodland. We also stock classic Heinz soups including Tomato – why not pair with a freshly made roll or loaf from our Plaxtol Bakery products? Our frozen range of Kentish Mayde pies, crafted with moreish shortcrust pastry, also provide a hearty, comforting meal.

Autumn is a great time to get baking for Bonfire Night, community gatherings and Halloween parties, and we continue to stock flour, sugar, locally produced eggs and honey, and cocoa powder. Or if you’d rather cut out the cooking time, you can wow your guests with one of our Coolmore and Nevis cakes or our very own Limpsfield Memorial Stores selection of delicious cookies and shortbread.

Finally, although Christmas is some time away, if you’re planning on sending parcels abroad, you can get a head start now to save time in December. Simply complete your customs data here www.postoffice.co.uk/icdc and then bring your barcode to our counter when your parcels are ready. Easy!
