Last week, on a sunny Wednesday evening filled with community spirit, Limpsfield Memorial Stores held its 26th Annual General Meeting โ a proud milestone for our much-loved village shop.
The meeting opened with our Chair, Alison Earnshaw, welcoming all attendees and formally agreeing the minutes of last yearโs AGM. She then shared a heartening overview of the past financial year, highlighting the many successes and improvements made to the store. From updates to our facilities and stock to new initiatives that continue to support local producers and bring convenience to the village, there was much to celebrate.

The formal business of the AGM concluded with the proposal and seconding of both existing and new committee members. We were pleased to welcome a few fresh faces to the team, including our newly appointed Chair, Anthony Turner, who we look forward to working with as we continue to build on the storeโs achievements.
A special vote of thanks was given to Alison for her outstanding contributions and steadfast commitment over the last three years. The event was rounded off in true Limpsfield fashionโwith a bunch of flowers, a glass of wine for all, and plenty of warm conversation among friends and neighbours.
Hereโs to another successful year for our community shop!
