There’s more to our Post Office than mail

Since 1999, Limpsfield Memorial Stores and Post Office has been run by the community, for the community. As banks and ATMs continue to disappear locally – and with many people still preferring in-person customer service to online – our Post Office plays an important role.

It’s easy to forget the wide variety of services available at our Post Office counter so here is a handy reminder.

Personal Banking
✔ Withdraw money (all you need is your bank card and PIN)
✔ Pay in cash or cheques
✔ Check your balance (most banks applicable)

Please note there may be some limits on cash deposits or withdrawals subject to your bank

Travel services
✔ Currency – Dollars and Euros on demand plus pre-order all other currencies for next-day delivery in branch (ID required)
✔ Travel Money Card – load with any of 22 worldwide currencies, with no charge for transactions abroad
✔ Send your passport renewal application as Special Delivery for guaranteed, secure, next-day delivery and end-to-end tracking for peace of mind

Business banking
✔ Cash deposit
✔ Cash withdrawal
✔ Balance enquiry
✔ Cheque deposits
✔ Change giving service

You’ll need your card and PIN for these services. For change giving service, you’ll need a change giving card.

The Post Office is open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (Closed 1-2pm) and Saturdays from 9am to 12.30pm. Closed Sundays and Bank Holidays.
