Welcome our new Manager, Di Hill

It is with enormous pleasure that we at Limpsfield Memorial Stores announce the arrival of our new shop manager, Di Hill, a very welcome addition to our team.

With a wealth of retail experience, Di has certainly had to hit the ground running in the few short weeks she has been with us and without a doubt has done so very successfully. With much to learn, including becoming fully trained and qualified in the services offered by our Post Office, committee members, volunteers and customers alike nevertheless are all marvelling at her ability to pick everything up in double quick time and to do so with such energy, enthusiasm and good nature!

She and our Morning Assistant, Charlotte together make a great team.

Di is very local having lived on the Chart for some years, so many of you will already know her but if you would like to meet her, do please swing by. You will be greeted by a lovely smile!

When you read this no doubt we will all be in full festive mode but even now writing this at the end of October, we at the store are ushering in Christmas with gusto. Our central island display is growing ever bigger as we once again hope that we will be a port of call for a few of your seasonal purchases.

As is tradition, we are proud to be offering free range turkeys, both boned and rolled from 1st November onwards, reared locally on Stockenden Farm. Do please come in to place your order and don’t forget that we are also taking orders across the full range of items from the Weald Smokery, delivered each Wednesday into the shop and up until the 20th December, should you like to add beautiful cold cuts to your festive fayre.

So fingers crossed that we see many of you in the shop between now and the end of the year, particularly if you have your Christmas cards ready to go or just need to avail yourself of any other of the many post office counter services we all need on a regular basis.

With best wishes for Christmas and the New Year

From all of the team at Limpsfield Memorial Stores.
